Semaglutide is a synthetic glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist. • Dosage and Administration:

• Semaglutide is administered once weekly via a subcutaneous injection (usually in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm). Dosing always follows a titration schedule, starting at a low dose (e.g., 2.5 mg) and gradually increasing every four weeks to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.
